This was dificult to light up coz the - platter is very highly reflective - you can see the light on the bottom bit of the platter.

These make really great subjects for photos. This one is a little dark though. Being very reflective is also good because you can show other stuff that might tie into your photo directly, or not.

Very nice composition and I like the contrasts you've captured without blowing out any of the highlights. I would have liked to have seen a little more of the texture of the metal though. Also, if those are dust specks in the shadow areas you could have blown them out.

Hmm, I remember when that was the hard drive to buy. But now I have a Miniscribe 30 meg drive instead. ;)

A POV most never see outside of challenges. It seems to me the platter should be lit up more.
