i like the idea you are going for here
but again i think a few tweaks in your perspective could have really enhanced the interestingness of the photo.
when you're looking through the view finder, i would suggest positioning yourself in different ways and see what the shot might look like from different angles... even if it makes you look silly an awkward :) :) :) you'll be amazed at what you may find :)
