 Day 20: BB

This is a standard BB that is shot from BB guns. I reversed my 50mm in front of my 100mm macro lense. I did crop a bit because there was vignetting. This on a tripod and at f/25! still really shallow DOF. Very intresting how much detail there is in a bb that you really never notice! I don't really like the background color but no time today to play around, very short on time!

I really like the texture you captured in the bb. You're right ... never knew there was that much to one.
I absolutely adore copper and, in fact, painted one wall in my living room metalic copper. This would be a nice modern art piece for the room.

I would have never thought a BB would have this much texture. Creative set-up using the reversed lens in front of a macro lens.

So that is what a BB looks like! That thing is huge!! Love your reference to the Christmas Story. My son loves that movie.

Funny title!! (Christmas Story). I never would have thought this was a BB...looks more like some cool, copper sculpture one would place in their garden. Love this one.

That is a big BB. Looks like a small planet. I really like the detail you got. I think you did a great job. The color is what it is. Nice one.
