The shadows are too harsh. The cropping is too tight on the left side. The symmetry of the shot makes the negative space effective with the empty seat.

the shadow is a great shape. I'll consider that your negative space. I'd crop off some of the right.

awwww...I like the strong shadow here, it emphasizes bear's solitude. The vertical line does breakup the pic a bit though. still, love the concept. 7
