Now this is cool. Looks like thorns on a plant that have grown over an adjoining leaf/stem. It could be a little bit brighter.

He, he, looks like dracula roses! Beautiful shapes. The colours, to my eyes, are not the most pleasing, although they sort of work for this shot. ~8
