Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT
Lens: Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro

Shutter: 1/25th

My kitchen whisk - until I took the macro, I hadn't appreciated just how rusty it had become. Still 20+ years isn't bad going for something I use several times every week, but I think perhaps it is time to invest in a new one!

Well the coil has certainly rubbed there a lot as it has caused slight grooves but the rust would make me guess it hasn't been used lately...crap I have no clue what it is! All I know is a coil around another piece of metal, can't think of what it would be used for. I do however know I like your lighting and depth of field. Your slightly gradient background is very nice and follows the tones on the inside of the coils. Nice image.

The rust doesn't add anything to the shot. The back part of the metal loops being out of focus doesn't help. The dark upper right corner also is problematic.

It is the year 2060 and your platinum lined water hose broke. Close? Great lighting and composition.

Kitchenware. Like one of those old style mixing things, like for scrambled eggs or cake mixes.
