 I had so many ideas for this challenge (as did my wife) but was unable to get the shots that I wanted (or the props for that matter). In the end I have had to use a last choice. My editing capabilities are still my downfall and the result may have been better if done properly - anyway a learning curve. I can't remember what I actually did but it involved rotate, crop, auto enhance, a play with colour tones, seperate to HSV channels (use one channel???) then add a border.

Better focus and a little more contrast might help this one.

Good idea but it seems a little blurry to me. Also, playing around with the contrast some might take away some of the gray and create more of a definition bewteen black and white.

Good idea. But the image is lacking to me. The puzzle pieces being uneven is bothersome to me. I know that sounds picky, but my eye doesn't like them not being flat. Maybe better lighting would have helped the image too. I like you idea though.

Contrast needs a bump or perhaps adjust the levels to get a broader tonal range.

Excellent idea But it looks a bit out of focus. Maybe try sharpening more? And I would love to see more contrast.

This is an EXCELLENT idea!!! I give you props on this one. However, this is just my opinion, it needs a little work. I think that the lighting is a little off. It is definitely WAY too soft.

I was thinking that a spot light on this would be awesome. The edges real dark and then fading into light right where the missing piece is. AND tack sharp is a must!!!! If you do not mind, I would love to try this...just email me to let me know if I CAN...I will give you created for the idea...

a neat idea but i think alot of sharpening is needed because it seems out of focus and its hard to see the divisions in the puzzle
