 I went on a road trip this thursday with indridistefans just to relax and enjoy the Icelandic summer, we set out to Jökulsárlón at 8am and didn´t come back till 11pm. While I didn´t take any photos specifically for challenges I was always aware of what the three challenges were about in the back of my mind so I kindof shot this for bacsides but not really. My negative space entry was also taken during this trip.

We were going to go out to Dyrhólaey to shoot some pictures but when we got there we saw a sign that it was closed till the 25th of June cause of the bird nesting season so we were about to turn back from the road to Dyrhólaey when I saw these horses standing besides the road so I pulled over and took a few shots. Just thought it was funny how they were "posing" the same way and had a very meager interest in me and my camera. Taken late in the day, hence the soft reddish tone hue to the shot.

Conversion wasn´t much, all would have been legal in basic editing except I darkened the sky and made it more red/blue to fit the rest of the tones in the picture better. Other than that, just raw conversion, a hint of sepia toning with a hue/sat layer with a low opacity setting and sharpened after resizing.

Nice lighting. I think you could take more of advantage of it with some tweaking of curves and levels especially in your midtones.

This is lovely. What a great capture, that they both looked at you at the same time. The wind blowing in their manes is beautiful. Excellent processing. It's very dreamlike. I really like it.

I love these guys but the exposure seems a bit off. They are too red. Maybe some adjustment in post editing could fix that. What sweet faces.
