I see this woman often at the park with the pond where I visit my geese. She's very popular with the birds there. She brings bird seed and cracked corn type stuff and they eat from her hands. She also brings bread for the ducks and the geese. I watched her for awhile Saturday - she carries tissues in her purse to keep wiping the blood off her arms where the pigeons land while she feeds them. After a while, she came over and said something to me in German I didn't catch. I told her my German is terrible - she said her English is terrible. I asked her about her arm, and she said, kinda in English - "I am not very sensible" and just laughed. Apparently she's used to it and it doesn't bother her. A very nice woman. I'll print some of the shots from the day and carry them with me to give her the next time I see her.
