 Day 12: Wine bottle

wine bottle on my island. Only lighting is overhead recessed lights and under cabinet lighting in the background. Try as I may I could not get the angle of the bottle I wanted with the proper lighting in the background, hence the dark right hand side of the frame that I think distracts a bit. Think I'm gonna go drink that bottle now!

This is a crop of the photo. Better or worse? i think better but I also think the dark on the right is more prominent.

Actually, I prefer this version to the cropped alternative. The OOF lights in the background are interesting to me. The b&w works well, and it's good and sharp on the cork. Well done.

"Think I'm gonna go drink that bottle now!" That cork looks like it was already popped, someone may have beat you to it!!

Nice shot. I think I agree that bottle2 is a bit better, the background doesn't distract as much as in this version.
I like the black and white in the shot. Nice choice.

The background is a bit distracting, but I love the distortion of the bottle. I REALLY need a wide angle lens.

Nice angle and perspective! The texture of the countertop and detail on the cork make for a very interesting image. The lights in BG are a little distracting, but a wonderful image, overall.
