Nothing special:
- original
- crop
- levels
- curves
- resize
- slight UM
- border
- save for web
Btw, I know it'll do bad.

Post:

Regarding the dark subject :

- the original image was quite similar due to natural light at low angle
- while possible to PP some extra detail in golfer, I thought the image is about the ball being half in (as the title suggests)

Nice timing - although that might acutally be from eagle to birdie if it came back out off the rim ;) The golfer is a bit silhouetted for my liking but nice composition (the title might be more beleiveable if he was further from the hole tho - as that is just from eagle to eagle for a lot of golfers ;)).

Both yor subjects are a little dark, but good concept and nice crop.

Background is quite cluttered. A narrow DOF would help with this. There is also very little light on the golfer, so he's lost in shadow.

not sure if the effect was intentional, but the golfer seems to be a little underexposed ... otherwise a nicely composed pic ...
