 My dad was an engineer, so trains have alway had a special place in my heart. This is actually the railyard where he worked for 35 years. He taught me to drive a train there. He let me drive it about a mile, which basically just meant I controlled the speed, because of course, there is no steering involved. But oh, was it ever fun. I had not thought about that memory until I went back today and remembered the fun I had that day.

I know the shot would have been better at a different time of day, but this was the only space ten minutes I had all day, so had to shoot when I could.

Hand held, standing on a bridge with semi's whipping past me, people hooting out there windows, and some really rude people hinking just to scare me. Sheeze, haven't people ever seen someone trying to take a photo before?

Nice composition and old-timey feel. it's been done before, but this is a good example of it and it fits the challenge well AND your title is clever, so 9

nice image, great use of angle of view. black and white work well here. good compositon, even though it's not that sharp i like it.

Interesting approach and good lines. The front of cars are a little dark and one train of cars seem a little over bright
