Critique Club review:

Hey Brian, fellow Puebloan!!!!

Didn't know you were on board, welcome.

First, your shot meets the challenge very well. Hockey is definitely action at all times.

I agree with the comments provided, and add that for the distance you shot the photo, you did quite well. The World Arena is huge and you'd have to be at the glass to do any better. I have no real suggestions for photography improvements, this is strictly timing and you did well.

A bit of added contrast in P.S. may have brought the colors out a bit brighter, but CC's colors are gold and black which do show off well.

Hope this helps a bit. Keep in touch.

Van

The puck is just off the end of his stick and no he didn't score but this was a shorthanded attempt in a game they won 7-1 :)

Thanks for the comments

Good action a little out of focus but clever anyway

Good image. Perhaps, it would be better if you get to show more movement effect, but it´s a good picture. 7

It's amazing what perspective can do. This almost looks like a toy setup instead of real life. good action shot.

Lol, it would seem that two people were at the same game = P
Nice shot, but it would be nice to see the puck, I can't tell if it is behind the stick or already in the goalie's glove. A faster shutter speed might have frozen hte action a little more too (the player is a little blurry).

Nice capture. I really like the stances of both of the players in this shot. Being closer to this surely would have helped this shot, but I'm sure if you could have been closer you would have been.
