 A glass of water on the stainless steel bench at work. I'd dreamed of getting a drop perfectly plopping in, but at 5pm on a winter's afternoon that was just a dream. Maybe sometime before the end of the month.

Cropped and rotated slightly, levels, brightness/contrast, resize and usm. Rainbow gradient layer, inverted it, then set to soft light, reduced opacity to about 20% and masked out the background just leaving a touch of colour on the glass. Touch of median noise filter reduction on the background as it was a bit gritty looking (ISO 800 will do it almost everytime)

I really think this is a perfect image here and you should be very proud.....
I really love the simplicity and the awesome color..... so soft snd so melattic looking in a pearly way.....
At first glance of the thumbnail, I thought the title made me think that this image was the hand piece of a telephone, a nice soft pearly one, but it isn't..... & I still love it .....

I really like it- the blues are dreamy and the patterns draw you in.... you threw me off when you said winter- then I checked where you live !
