 Wow, on the 5D the 17-40mm lens is REALLY wide! So much for needing a fisheye lens, 17mm is enough! Unfortunately, the camera focused on his hair, not his eyes. I haven't messed around with using individual AF points yet, but I will soon. One step at a time...

yea that lens is very wide. sometimes i will grab my wife's 5d (she has that lens on all the time) and get shocked at how wide it is compared to my 30d.
