nice shot mi lint the composition but feel that the dof could be a little larger to get both shoes in focus and like others it could be a little lighter but over and above that it is a really nice photo
Not to play devil's advocate, but I like the similarity of color in the shoes and wood. I wonder how this could be lightened without sacrificing the deep, dark reds?
I think the composition is nice but do agree w/ the other that it is a bit on the dark side. I also think that since the shoes are bronze and the the wood is cherry that there isn't enough contrast between the shoes and background. just mho and hope that helps.
Beautiful colours, composition and dof. IMO a slight curves adjustment would leave the lovely rich colours yet make the shoes stand out against the b/g.
