 Convert to b&w (channel mixer).
Sharpen and Unsharp Mask.
Resize.

Thought I'd try to catch some of Riversong's magic. Neglected the imporance of cleaning items before photographing them!

This is cool.. The angle, tones, and composition make this outstanding.
The angle especially is nice--it has depth and perspective.

This is really good. I like being able to see the grain of the handle and the scuff marks.

It's funny how this one and yesterday's are so similar. Its almost a "double take" situation.

This one is the better of the two, IMHO. Detail, contrast and texture are excellent. I really like how the spout fades off into the corner. I'm not crazy about how the round part is cropped at left side; but overall this is a super shot!

Love how you can see the textures in the brushed metal here. I find it strange that even though the button part is centered left to right, it still feels like it follows the rule of thirds to some extent from the rest of the composition. A nice shot of such an ordinary object.
