I'm officially hooked on Painting With Light. After learning how to do it, which it isn't that difficult, I pretty much was putting misc. objects in front of the camera, turning off the lights and going at it with the flashlight...I think my wife is getting really sick of walking around all night in the dark...lol...

So this is my Father-in-Law's pond he made. Beautiful area to shoot I thought, and try out my new favorite thing to do. It was really difficult trying to get the shot focused. I put as many lights as I could and kept using the flash to try and get it as focused as I could. Then when I got it just right. Turned out all the lights, and set the timer for 30 Sec. and ran to the pond. Used a flashlight with a with a custom aluminium foil "snood", as they call it, to trace the water, started at top and worked my way down. It was very slippery because it was raining like crazy about 10 minutes before I got there. Tried about 20 shots. Thought this was the best. Hope everyone likes, and like always, contsructive criticism welcome.

Cool lighting, definitely evokes the sense of enchantment you were going for. A bit oversaturated or oversharpened, perhaps? Has the feel of a little too much processing.

the composition and colors are really nice here - i do see a couple of rocks that seem blown out - and I would have liked a little more of the rocks on the side illuminated somewhat -but it's a good effort - 7

Uhh... the first contender I encounter in this challenge. Can't find any fault. Light, composition, lines, colors - everything is very well done. It's a bit oversaturated, but for some reason even that works well.

This reminds me of a number of images I did of the waterfall by my garden pond. The colours are great and the light following the water flow is a nice idea. Well done.
