This was a great shot, with lots of emotion. Too bad the general audience didn't agree. Better luck next time.

This isn't what I'd consider a candid shot, maybe if you'd focused a little more on the reactions or positions of the onlookers in relation to the memorial display it would have fit the challenge better.

i don't believe this fits the catagory even if I do like the shot

Good picture and very timely... without people in it I can't say it's a candid. Glad you put it in the challenge however. While off-topic, it's a good reminder.

I like the shot, the colors, its 'documentary' aspect but does not meet the spirit of a 'candid moment' to me, what is happening that makes it candid ?. Another Week 6 or 7. This week 4

wow, so candid. not really

Other than the clutter and the partial people in the background, this is a wonderful photo. I'm at a bit of a loss on the challenge, but that's normal. I guess you could say that all shots of inanimate objects are candid......10 Swash

It's an interesting image to be sure, but I don't see how it in any way lives up to the "candid" requirement.

The problem with this picture is the load of details. In the original picture that may have been a good point, but down at 640x480 it is getting blurred. In short the picture is lacking focus on a particular point; the person that has been photographed candidly does not evoke an emotion, since we cannot see what she is relating to in particular. Technically the picture is OK, lighting, focus, but that is not what makes a good picture, it is only a starting point.

Not a bad shot, just to busy.

Good impact, emotional. Would like to have seen better light here, lots of detail is lost. Score 6 Justine
