one fiber optic light, a flashed overhead light, and a long exposure.. the light was really dusty, so it was hard to keep my eyes open; this ended up being the best of the bunch.
15s exposure, hold the lights in front of my face for a 7 count, move em to the side, flash the light on for a 2-3 count, turn it off, and then move the lights back in front of me. repeat lots of times.. :)

Very creative idea. I like the colors and the diffused look.. (I think I still have one of those lamps.)

Very cool. I think I would've liked a bit more detail in some features of the face to make it pop a bit more. Also, the earring draws my eye away from the face.

interesting portrait lighting choice! the title fits the photo - not a huge fan of the lighting on the eyes - would like them a little more pronounced -but not much to be done in basic!

bottom area seems too blown out. I think you could have exposed this less and brought out the different colors nicely with post processing. could have positioned this lower, like right under the eyes and made it look almost like a woman holding some surreal fan, and greater visibility of the eyes would allow the viewer to be more engaged with the "goddess"

Using the fiber optics was a very good idea. Refreshing after looking at all of the lazer drawings. I do wish that you had cropped it closer so that the light covered the entire image. Good job.
