 I tried to make adjustment layers using editable masks (PS 4.0).
* Create mask using LowCivicMan99 method
* Save mask , - (click invert to select the other stuff)
* Create a new adjustment layer & use the brushes to select additional pixels to be adjusted
* Play with this a long time
-create many different types of adjustment layers including gradient, hues/saturation & levels
-adjust opacity of above
-click eye icon on individual layers to determine if they have an affect on the final product
-change order of layers
-try above with background as well as squirrel
