 I hung a small flash light from a door frame and mounted a flash on a tripod. I then fired my camera with a 15 second delay and started the flashlight spinning on the hanging cord. While it was spinning, I held the orchids just below the spinning light and fired the flash once. I pulled the orchids away and let the spinning light finish the 30 second exposure. It took me about 20 attempts to get this image.

PS: cropped, levels, curves, saturation increased, neat image and tiny amount of USM.

Interesting Idea but the lack of light has left the flowers a bit drab, Good Luck

very well photographed - the orchids are nice and bright and relatively sharp and the geometric pattern is really well composed
