I thought about doing something with 2 of my rabbits but then it occurred to me that a caged/stuffed bunny with a free/live bunny was a doubletake in several senses of the word, and might amuse someone other than me. I hope ;-) Happily I had an old stuffed bunny around from when the kids were little which was about the right color and size to invite comparison.
Thanks to the lovely Violet, my cooperative model.
Shot with natural light and a lamp indoors; I had a reflector over the lamp and top of the setup to reflect light onto the top/back of the live bunny and sunlight coming from the windows in front.
PP - converted from RAW, cropped, increased contrast, converted to duotone (kept a little of the original color), lightly burnt some background behind the cage, dodged/cloned eyes to make catchlights more equal, dodged "teeth" on stuffed bunny and burnt eyes and nose lightly, dodged highlights on both bunnies, resized, cloned out a couple of stray hairs, sharpened. |

First time I've seen a stuffed animal used well, and to top it off, you used it REALLY well! Love the expression of the live bunny, great composition, and the lighting adds to the "spookiness" of it. Nice job! |

kind of funny! looks underexposed, though. If you metered off the white bunny, it will set exposure settings to make that 18% gray, resulting in overall underexposure. composition looks good. the DOF is about right, too. focus is on the eyes, funny title. summary - everything looks good except for expsoure. Nice pic overall. |

LOL! Darn fine pic of what I assume is the real bunny. |
