Unless combined with another picture element to give some kind of message, this is not a subject I find particularly interesting.

Yes it is. Not quite sure what you are trying to convey here but I get a feeling of entrapment with no chance of escape. Perhaps if the shot was cropped so you had some sky across the top to show the contrast between freedom and being locked up? The shot is crisp and clear but really does nothing for me. Maybe also if the post was more to one side or another? A 4

INteresting subject, however the photo seems too busy . Maybe focus on one section of the fence, for example the links or the barb wire. Jacko.

Interesting shapes. I would have liked better an off-center composition, and the ability to see the whole spiraling barbwire.
