Like peering through a black curtain that's been 'lanced'. If I can just get my hands in there and open it up wider... Yeah, I likey.

:)

thats what i want to hear, but because i like y'all i will tell you a story.
i am at the queen victorian market (the biggest market in melbourne) at around 2pm and the sun decided to come out there are these small windows running all the way down the length of the market shooting this light onto the marketplace. don its not blonde hair its a spud sack :) and the rest of the colours are fruit and vegies.
there was people and noise going everywhere.
this is how i saw the scene.

looking at the pace of how slit size is getting smaller, i have a feeling the next picture we will see from you with this type of capture will barely have an eye or half an eye visible leaving quite much room to the imagination of the viewer :)
this is quite an intriguing picture, i just can't help but wonder where this person is, what she is looking at like this...

that's blonde hair, right? and after that it becomes complete colorful abstraction. but it starts with a face observing, or rather ignoring, it all atop her red shoulders. And we only get to see through a tiny rip in the bag.

I've seen a similar technique from you before, but this is taken to an extreme, and just barely holding together as a photograph. That's what separates the mensetfire from the boyssetfire, you Chuck Yeager, you.

I like this. The concept is really nice and well executed. The focus seems a bit soft and I think it would be more dramatic with the stray bits of light coming off the ray to be completely black.
