 The view from the hill above the Niskayuna bike path near Blatnick park. This is one of the most beautiful views in Niskayuna. I was coming back from shooting some on the path (this time I had driven there), and the setting sun was lighting these flowers and parts of the lawn creating a beautiful effect.

- Shot with a cokin GND (of course)
- Developed in RSP
- In PS, adjusted colors, exposure, resized, buzzed a little for painterly feel after resizing.

if the background was in a more shallower dof i think this would have been better imo

what great color and textures in the ground and water - the sky has some strange striations that appear a little odd - if this was smoothed out I would probably rate it a couple points higher

Very nice colors in this shot. I like the contrasts between the yellow of the flowers and the green of the grasses. The depth is nice, and the depth forces my eye to wonder deep into the composition.
