OK, this makes 3 snowflake entries in a row for me!

I realize this isn't a very good snowflake shot. I got the idea for this shot a few hours after I saw the challenge topic, and all I had to do was wait for it to snow! Well the days came and went, and the only day it showed... was Christmas Day! Of course, as luck would have it, when it started to snow, I was at Christmas Day festivities were at the in-law's. I had my camera with me, but no proper "snowflake photographing stuff". So I took off the black turtleneck I had on underneath my sweater and stuck it outside. Since it was Christmas day, I couldn't spend all day looking for "the perfect flake", so I waited for my turtleneck to get cold enough, snapped a few shots and that was that.

It didn't snow again all week.

This snowflake shows what happens when water droplets in the clouds freeze onto the falling snow. The frozen droplets that are stuck all over this sectored-plate snowflake are called "rime", and are what give this snowflake its "jagged" appearance.

Since I was very busy over the holidays, I didn't have nearly as much time as I wanted to spend on the "overall presentation" of my poster...

Real nice idea.
The snowflake seems to be melting? Did you try this shot outside with natual lighting? I think it could have been better. I don't like all the black. It does not come across as motivational.

One of the best. The type set for the title is the best. B&W images ties to the quote and the monocromatic layout gives equal weight to both the quote and the image. Sorry , no suggestions to improve! 10

Very pleasant, lets me understand individuality.

One of few, if not the only entry in just black and white. That works wonderfully for this entry. I wish the snowflake was a little less dense. Nice effect with the font and lettering, especially the larger first/last letters. Great quote. Nice job.

i felt that your words of wisdom may have ran a little too long, but nonetheless you have a very detailed pic and the idea of "be yourself" and "unique" works well with the snowflake.

A lovely motivational message; a really beautiful thought. The image is also very appealing and striking. My preference would be for image to be larger and the text area/ font sizes smaller.

Yes, this is beautiful! It is a 10, and better than many posters available in stores!

Like the idea of using the snowflake. But I think you could have skipped the small text, it´s kind of corny. Just have "Be Yourself", everyone understands the repression. Sorry for the bad english

A great idea, very well executed. But too much text. This would have worked with the main title alone - the other text acts merely to distract from the image and title.

IMHO, the text at the bottom are a bit large. I hope to see bigger picture with smaller text. However, you have a wonderful idea here. I like the BW colors that you choose to work on. Great.

Gorgeous snowflake macro. Love it in b&w. It is simple, but bery beautiful. The only small thing I don't like is that the text is way too big. It could have been a nudge smaller, because it is reversed white on black, it is very powerful even if were smaller. The font you picked is nice for this poster. Overall one of my favourites in this challenge.
