|You cannot believe how exited I was to see these puffins. Bempton Cliffs are a breeding ground for a number of sea birds - herring gulls, guillemots, gannets, razorbills, and puffins. There are a number of vantage points where you can view the cliffs, but few places where you can get close. There is one spot, a mile or two from the nearest road where the cliff has recently eroded. There is an overhang, and so I shimmied along on my stomach and lay at the edge for an hour or so just waiting - and it was certainly worth it! Photography was quite hard, as there was some grass in front of me that kept getting into the frame, and the on-shore wind was blowing quite strongly and buffeting the camera about.
Post processing - clone out partial bird, slight crop, maybe 10-15%, small levels adjustment and USM, border and resize.
