 This photo was taken a dusk the only cloud in the sky was the small pink one. The rest was totally overcast in a in white haze. I used a very high brightness/ contrast ratio
for the sky, I went over it with a blur tool to take away the gritty look so I could keep right side of pix intact as much as possible including the fine pink mist of clouds traveling to top of photo. I painted between the tree leaves and along church steeple to match sky and reduce halo effect. I used a tiny bit of green for the lawn and blurred it because it was bare dirt. I cropped, sized and saved to web. It's the real sky, beautiful enough as it is with out having fake clouds and color added. It's sitting on a mountain above the tree line and on this day the pink clouds. The church was never touched in any way, if you look closely you can see the tiny spotlights and the curtains in the purple windows.

The composition and clarity are great. I just wish there was a little more contrast/saturation in colour.
