 This is my first entry. Be gentle...

Post-processing steps:

1. Open in PS CS3
2. Auto Levels
3. Levels - bit more tweaking
4. Crop - approx 5-10% cropped off right and top
5. Image Size - resized to 640 wide
6. Unsharp Mask - 85% 1px Threshold of 4
7. Desaturate
8. Save As - JPEG High 7 or 8

The lighting isn't great, and the background is a bit distracting. I'm not convinced the B&W works well - the shades of grey present are all pretty similar, and when you look at the photo, you first stare at the highlights in the top left corner, then look at the statue as a bit of an afterthought. Nice enough composition, unusual enough god, but could have been done better technically.
