I think this may have been better placed with the bird at the left and without the powerlines

The bird is too far away to make this an interesting shot. The powerlines dont work for me either,

Not a fan of the wires, but to be blunt, the image is a bit plain and I can see why you included them considering the fact that the image itself has very little going on. I like that you can see the bird's full tail and make out its individual feathers. I'm giving you a six; there's not enough in the image to hold my attention, and I don't like the color too much.

This would be more "The application of flight". The bird should have more impact on the overall photo.
