 Not a very original idea, as this was mostly a lighting experiment. Wine glass filled with water. Need to get a new glass without any chips or scratches if I attempt this again.

Lighting: A flash behind and below the glass, firing into a blue wall. The aim with this image was to try get the light as soft as possible, therefore I could not have any direct light on the glass.. The flash was triggered by PC cord and not optically as I did not want to risk the built-in flash creating an ugly highlight on the glass.

Post processing: RAW. Black and white conversion, channel mixer with 100% green channel. Levels to set the white point, and curves for more contrast. Cloned out an air bubble that was suspended in the stem of the glass, as well as a few other small imperfections.
