Studio set up with two pieces of paper used as reflectors. Glass shot while sitting on paper. (black velvet background) Water was originally coloured blue, but changed to reddish colour using hue/saturation. Other post process was just crop, edit out minor imperfections, sharpen.

I don't understand why the water is colored. I don't think it adds to the photo.

Positives: This has good focus and good lighting. It clearly meets the challenge. Because you chose to center your object, it's a bonus that it is actually centered.

Negatives: Not the most exciting photo, and I bet it isn't doing well with the voters... (if it is, then just ignore me!) I just think overall it lacks an excitement factor. I don't really like the white table with black background either.

Overall: Good job technically, but it just needs something more. Maybe more dramatic lighting, a different angle, a different composition.... Hope this makes sense! 6
