Last minute simple idea to shoot a candle through the bottom of a glass. Cloned out the wick and saturated the colors.

It doesn't look like fire. It looks like a light to me.

I can see what looks to be reflections, but not really the fire.

subject is not too interesting, DOF is too shallow IMO. The flame is too small, it's hardly recognizable if there wasn't the title. The crop is too tight and a bit irregular, see the different amounts of space at the sides

Not really sure what I am looking at here. If this is a candle, the flame is out of focus which takes away from this image.
