I am trying to expand my range and when I went to the botanical gardens in new york I found myself more inspired by flowers than I have ever been in my life...i am not sure if this exactly meets the challengs but its just that water lily's intrigue me because they live in the water...water supports all life and even though it's not really the main subject of the photo, it gives life to all that's in it....

I have no idea how this will do but i am excited

Great angle for a bokeh, I doubt I'll ever stumble across such beautiful life in my neck of the woods.

Very pretty water lilies...they really pop against the darker tones of the water. Beautiful photograph!
