This is a nice simple shot, and I like the morning fog you captured. If I were going to edit this, I think these would be my steps: change the crop (leaving less blacktop and a bit more room above the steeple if that was possible), desaturate just a tad (especially the yellows... they're making the grass look a fake color), and bump the contrast up a bit (hopefully making the white of the steeple look more white and the roof a bit darker). I also like the stained glass window at the end of the building, so perhaps an extra bit of sharpening over the windows, and probably a bit of usm on the whole shot. I know you asked for feedback in the threads and stdavidson will give you a different type of critique. Hopefully this will be helpful too, just in a different kind of way :) |
