 A beautiful sunny day and a bunch of heavy equipment sitting around in the mud. What better opportunity. I expected someone to come buy and tell me to get the heck out of their construction site, but they must have all been on a long coffee break because there was no one around.

Made some adjustments to exposure, brightness, contrast and desaturated the image in RAW import. Then did some burning on highlights and mid tones to give it some more depth.

Nice idea, but the tones are little flat (muddy?) and the picture kind of uninteresting. Getting in closer to the treads or really going for a strong detail shot would have been better than trying to get the whole tractor tread in. 5 for the effort and the vision -- need to work your subject a little harder next time.

a bit too bright ... try using curves to tone down the highlights
