Okay- this one took a bit to edit. I had everything I needed off of one photo



I saved the original under a different name and opened it back up(so I had two of the same picture side by side)
-Aside from the normal stuff(aka levels,color,contrast)
I copied and rotated the images from one to the other. trying to get the fingers to almost transform into the element they were to represent. Colored over and changed opacities alot.

To put in simple terms- It took freak a long time.

Hope you guys enjoy this photo as much as I did creating it. Coming up with an idea was half the battle!

Very cool image! The image is yours. Not meeting DPC's outdated editing rules doesn't detract from it a bit.

a good try, but you were never going to get past the validation. but a really good idea all the same.

Hmm... I'll be interested to see whether this stands up to validation; if so it would be a remarkable shot to get! If it's legal please post how you did it.

Even if it passes, though, it feels very "photoshoppy"; the burn marks on the hand, the water, all look like they were added later, which I find distracting from the concept. I do like the concept...
