Chapman Falls in Devil's Hopyard State Park in CT. Taken around 2:30 pm, the worst time but only one available for me to make it there. Taken in RAW, converted in CS3.

adjustment layers for curves, selective color. gothic glow layer with a mask for the dark areas, hue/sat to make the greenery less yellow and more green, channel mixer to add punch, selectively sharpen, resize, then selectively sharpen again. Clone out the ghost of a person walking near the fence, then save for web. slight burn in the patch of sky.

I once learned from an expert landscape photographer that long exposure waterfalls are best photographed on a overcast day or at dusk/dawn. It will eliminate the burned highlights on the water caused by sun reflecting of the water. I think this one would score high if it hadnt been for the burned highlights on the waterfall because its a beautiful place and a well composed picture.
