Got my camera muddy for this one. Hey, I've even got a third element in here, in a sense - plants need oxygen to thrive, right? :)
Converted from RAW and then tone-mapped, using the 16-32-16 mode "local adaptation" conversion mentioned in lesgainous' tutorial. Three adjustment layers: selective color, brightness/contrast, hue/sat. Some healing brush and clone stamp to remove minor spots and specks, slight crop, USM, resize/save for web.

This is so good, I love everything about this one.....
The clarity of the plant, the sharp focus as well, and the DOF is amazing.....
What makes this stand out against other images similar, is the wonderful water droplets.....
This shot is excellent throughout, crisp focus and lighting. Good placement and should of placed higher. Perhaps if the whole plant were in focus, it would be a winner.
This seems a much more intimate and connected to the earth interpretation of the challenge than many other entries. A perfect entry for the Out of Focusers.
