A lot of background detail make it a very busy image, and the fountain is almost lost. I also agree with the other comment on the green. It's a little overwhelming, and looks a bit like a color balance issue.

Nice shot but since I work in a photolab, i just had to try color correct it and I liked that version better. too much green for my tastes. Add some red and blue and !!

I dont know if its a bad illusion but to me the photo seems like it has a horizon problem. The more I look at it the more I think its an optical illusion but when I look at the fountain I find my head tilting slightly to the left to get a feel of being straight. I like the composition and the lighting is a nice effect. I just dont know about having the "feeling" of needing to tilt left.

I like this image because it's well composed, nicely saturated and I'm partial to high contrast. Because of this aspect though, it seems more bright and bubbly than serene.

If possible, I will go with a HDR type image here as the blown out leaves in background distract me and doesn't work with the 'serenity' title

Pretty location. One one hand slow shutter speed renders fountains ethereal; on the other, a fast shutter speed makes for jagged water, if you know what I mean. It's already a busy photo with so many textures. I reckon ethereal water would work better to counterbalance the exuberant texture. 0.02 cents worth next to nothing at the USD present exchange rate on world markets.
