 The painting from which this detail is extracted is on the front of what was probably a retail/wholesale outlet by the harbour in Oslo. It's now no more than a storage room from what I can see, while the decorative shop front fades under lack of maintenance...

Nicely seen and composed. The textures and colors are very strong. When I viewed this, I suspected it was a painting (I didn't vote in this challenge), but it probably brought your score down some. Anyway, very cool.

Like the painting like quality to this - Find the blue border distracting - Black would have given it some much needed contrast

Nice photo, but isn't there a rule against a consisting entirely of a pre-existing artwork? Maybe that only applies to pre-existing photographs. Anyway, this is a nice painting, and you've certainly photographed it well.
