Why? I don't get your choice of this shot for a desat challenge. Having the one girl in color don't make sense to me. Why her and not one of the others...

Sorry, but the only two things I think of when I look at this are "that looks painful" and "she looks terrified"! Perhaps a different shot from the recital(?) would have worked a little better.

Interesting selection. The color really stands out...to the point that it almost seems that she was cut from a different photo and pasted in, though that is clearly not the case.
