I think I would have preferred to see this shot taken from a slightly lower angle so you actually see some more of their faces instead of just the tops of their heads. 5

Interesting angle...

Nice shot.

Nicely done, although I think it would have been more effective to be able to see the kid's face more. In fact it would have been really cool to see just a close-up of the kid's face with the artist's hand in there doing the drawing. Or, even better yet! Get both the boy and the red head girl's faces close-up, side by side!

This is a good photo, but I would have liked it better if I could see more of the kid's face. Good color/focus - 8 Swash

I understand the problem: if you would have changed the standpoint to the level of the childrens faces they would no longer have been candid, but reacted to the camera. Consider shooting in the blind as I call it: just let your camera be at the end of your arm, free in your hand, at the place where your eye should have been. Point and shoot. It needs a little practice, but it makes for a lot of real candid pictures. The current standpoint of the photographer is just not very appealing.

mood captured - I'm so glad you're young enough you're not just staring at my boobs while I paint this alligator face for you
sincerity of expressions - great

Might have been better from lower level, child level. Nice photo though.

I think I would have titled this one "concentration" good picture
