 From a day full of nature photographs. This stood out as the perfect picture for this challenge, since the leaves stood out already as nearly unsaturated against the gray bark. Edited saturation and resized.

You've done a good job with the desaturation but there's just not a lot to hold a viewer's interest in the shot itself.
