 Shot in my backyard. The spiral is cut off of one of my pea plants in the garden. I taped it to the kids' swing-set because the fence behind was still lit by the sun and was a nice warm brown which went nicely with the greens. I was looking for a ladybug, but couldn't find one and knew where lots of these big ants were. Getting one to climb on a stick, I transfered him to the spiral and started shooting while he tried to find his way off.

PP involves tonemapping, NI, hue/saturation shifts (+20 overall, +20 shift on greens), color balance to warm things (+50/-60), and selective color to add black to the reds (to help darken the BG), I believe S/H was also used, but I have lost the settings. USM, border.

Nice composition but if the background is dark it will give a grate rilief.
