First thought that crosses my mind when looking at this is it's WAY overprocessed. It's a look you're probably going for but it's not a look that is appealing to me. Sorry. Then moving on to the vanishing point part; is the distant pier your vanishing point? It doesn't really vanish, it just stops like a leading line. This image is certainly unique, I'll give you that. :) Good luck in the challenge.

Everything seems to dissapear in this image...

too agressive post-process for my taste

Where's the vanishing point? Also halos are weird.

Nice attempt but overly-processed IMO.

This shot lacks definition and is too contrasty. If it is the shot you were going for and you like it. that is what matters at the end of the day

I don't quite get the vanishing point nor do I understand what appears to be excess processing.

Like the pic, but not sure about the glow effect in the foreground shrubbery

the sharpening halos don't work for me.

Another good pic but wheres the vanishing point, I thought the description said "parallel lines converging".

BUt hey, I like your picture :)

While I think this is an excellent shot, I dont' think it meets the challenge.

"The vanishing point is the appearance of a point on the horizon at which parallel lines converge together. Compose and photograph an interesting shot that illustrates this concept."

I love the detail in the forefront and how it softens through the cityscape and into the clouds.

I give it high marks on the composition, but take off some on not meeting the challenge reqs.

This is nice.

neat processing on this image - very graphic -but i don't see this meeting the challenge of vanishing point - where are the converging parallel lines?

Nice processing. I don't see a vanishing point though.
