This is the first one, of a number of images, that I recently captured of the Sydney Opera House, seen through my eyes, looking at textures, shape, form, and lines.
I hope you enjoy them.

ps; I was on, one of the Sydney ferries, when I took this shot.
The same ferry, that I found the ropes, that I took photos of, re Day 14 and Day 15.

Sepia version.

Nice detail in this Shez. The tent looks pretty good from this angle.

What a great building this is and to see it from this vantage point is a treat! The contrast is perfectly done, the composition is beautiful and the clouds in the sky add interest.

Lovely! I can see a bit of your editing around the building though.

Shez, you did so good on this. It's such a beautiful building, and you've photographed it so clean and sharp. You really did it justice!

This is such a beautiful structure! I just love it in b&w too! I can't wait to see the rest of the images since I doubt I will be traveling down under anytime soon ;)

Beautiful composition! I've actually never seen images of the Opera House so close up. Very impressive! I just love this! Hopefully some day I can feast my eyes on it in person! But in the meantime, this will do. Thank you!

this is a very interesting vantage point - not the typical postcard view of the opera house (and which I'm guilty of shooting on my trip to Sydney). and I agree, the contrast is excellent. one thing that jumps out at me though, is I think there might be a bit too much dodging around the 'middle' spire - or the tip of the part closest to the viewer. very nice shot.
