 Taken at the Mela Fair in Austin. I overexposed the shot to eliminate most of the background. Editing includes noise reduction, contrast boost, color fine tuning, sharpening and text overlay. Unfortunately I had to save with 69% jpg quality to get under the 150kb limit. Normally I like to keep things no lower than 80%.

BEAUTIFULLY DONE! This would make a great cover. I love everything about this imagae the colors, the angle of your subject, the text, the editing, the lighting, etc. Amazing job!!

This is a great entry for the challenge ... cool move regarding the over exposure to eliminate background distractions (I might have to use that idea some day)

DPL was to Tibetan monk chanting what cool jazz was to jazz. Nothing like a few tinkly bells to lighten up those guttural growls. Hey, she's not a Buddhist! How'd she get on the cover? Turns out she was the guest artist on their hit single, "Hello Dalai"

Back to comment. Well, I started this off at 7, then bumped to 8 and now I'm here again. Probably bump some more. The reason I guess, is because the more I look at this, the more I find another aspect to fall love with. Let's face it, what's not to like here? Glorious light, colour and grace of the model. The placement and treatment of the text is simply outstanding. Everything comes together to close the package. I would buy this album. Good luck, hope to see it on the front page :)

wow this is very beautiful. really caught my eye. i light the very light look but wish there were a littl less blown out areas, especially her shoulder where it dissapears and blends in completely with the background. full detail in this and I'd see a ribbon here.
