Has a bereft, beaten-down feel to it. Great shot.

As long she doesn't go crazy and kill someone its ok, but if... i blame you!

uh oh, karmat is turning into a poet... just remember it's *your* fault, Gnarf. I don't want to get blamed for this!

Gnarf, you have a real eye. I love this capture. The fact that it is out of balance makes it much more interesting.

Can't really tell you what to improve with this, and can't tell you why I really like it either. This is just one of those shots that seem to mirror those moments in life when things seem to being going according to plan, but any minute, something could happen to steer you off course.

Simply fantastic. A map to photography hidden in the skin of a poet. 10

Interesting shot... I'm not completely convinced by the composition, especially the section of wall down the left hand edge of the shot. The textures are great, and the man adds interest and mood. I think what I like least about it is the patch of wall which is much lighter to the right of the man. The eye is usually drawn to the lightest part of a photo, which makes it hard to know where to settle on this photo.

Kind of sad - the inconsequential nature of a solitary man heading for a wall while no one above watches.

I am not sure if the man adds to this photo or not..seems like too much space between but ok photo.

I like this photography and this type of photography in general, so I hope this does well. From a techinical standpoint only a few problems - the most telling is the distortion on the building and the lack of vertical lines on the R, the window seems vertical to the pipe but not to R side of the picture. Also a bit contrasty on his face, plus the white box behind the man is a problem. From a compostional standpoint you really have 4 separate ideas, each pulling the viewer and each pulling the viewer out of the picture - the man facing and walking out, the window half finished, the large non-finished rectangle in the lower R, and the lamp in the upper L. In order for the picutre to really work they either need to tell a story or they need to be equally powerful to keep the viewer coming back to the others. I don't quite get your story here, and I'm not sure about the power of each idea, but I really like your effort.

Nice tones but the focus should also be on the man.
